The romance of the Art Deco era has always appealed to Susan Berman. After a mid-life career change, Susan was able to pursue her passion for collecting Art Deco ephemera, especially perfume and cosmetic related graphics, fashion plates from period publications and advertising for travel, fashion and cosmetics.

Susan frequently travels to European cities to add to her collection, searching flea markets and antiques dealers in Paris and London. She has recently published "Affordable Art Deco Graphics" through Schiffer Publishing Ltd.

The Art Deco exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in Spring 2003 and its subsequent move to three North American cities has sparked renewed interest in this fashionable trend. Susans collection takes advantage of this trend and makes available her selections for the print and poster market. With her studios computer skills she can pull her images together in relationships not necessarily inherent originally, thereby giving her collection uniqueness beyond the raw material available from the public domain.
